Mirage is the second large expansion for Magic. This set begins a new schedule by Wizards where a large set will be released during the fall of each year. The set will be followed by two smaller accompanying expansions that will be released four months apart from each other. This cycle will then continue with a new lage set being released each year.
Mirage introduces two new game mechanics: Phasing and Flanking. It also brings five enchantments (one for each color) that can be played as instants; but, if you do, then you have to sacrifice them at end of turn. And last, but definitely not least, are the Charms. These instants are three spells in one... for a good price too!
