Fourth Edition brought some major changes to the Magic base set; and, consequently, it brought several changes to the tournament environment at the time. Many of the cards that were in virtually every deck were removed from the base set, including Juggernaut Buy, Kird Ape Buy, Sedge Troll Buy, and... most importantly, the Revised Dual Lands.
