If I read this right, you can just say artifact and make them put all their artifacts back into their deck, or say beast, or whatever.

I think this is a pretty good card for 2 mana...
[EDIT]
Jesus christ, I never thought of this. This is a super boomerang basicaly, put this with an isochron, utter control. This card can be easily turned broken with the isochron scepter.

No, it doesn't work by declaring artifacts. It bounces cards if they are *exactly* the same- same creature type, same effects, same stats, same NAME.

But boy's it ever powerful. A crap/poor man's deck can destabilize a lotta stuff with this card alone. Put it on an IsoScepter and party on.

highly powerful card!

however in boomerangs' case you spend 2 blue and can bounce any single targetable permanent however for this card you trade off the useful ability of bounceing lands for a more splashable casting cost and possibly bouncing more permanents

It is just one of the best bounce spell i know

It is really better than Boomerang Buy because:
1) It cost 1{U} instead of {U}{U} (Useful for multi deck, or deck that use lands that produce colorless mana)
2) Even thought you can't bounce lands, you can bounce multiple permanents with only one of those
3) It can be imprinted on Isochron Scepter Buy (Yes, I know Boomerang Buy can be imprinted on it to, but anyway)

Pretty cool, but it doesn't work on morph creatures. I'm not exactly sure if it works on tokens, but I'm too lazy to do the research.

Actually, this will bounce morph creatures because, just like tokens, they all share a common "name". What you consider that name to be is really irrelevant, since they are all identical in the end. Remember, morph creatures may be different cards, but when they are still face-down, they are treated as identical cards.

Echoing Truth Buy is definitely an awesome card. In many respects, it's an improved Boomerang Buy. The only real advantage offered by Boomerang Buy over Echoing Truth Buy is that it can bounce lands, but that makes sense, considering how broken Echoing Truth Buy would be if it could bounce lands.

First, this card will work on tokens that share the same name, and second, this card will not bounce multiple morphed creatures as they have no names to share.

This is a decently functional card, useful as a splash and a nice defence against token heavy decks when compared to boomerang. However, in my opinion, boomerang is still a slightly better card, mainly for the look on an opponent's face when you boomerang his Lotus Vale Buy. Happy
