Could someone please explain how this card is even remotely good? I mean, if there's a combo for the life drain, then why not replace it with Yawgmoth's Bargain? It's only 2 more mana and the bonus is huge. In all honesty, this card just doesn't strike me as worth anything more than the paper it was printed on.

What is wrong with this card? it's not THAT bad, especially when used with Takeno. With it, a 3/3, able to be a 5/5 with bushido. Hmm, sounds good to me. And you dont HAVE to regenerate it Michael

so it still sucks with takeno beacuse it is a 1/1 for 4 that sits around that has to wait for takeno give me a battlemad ronin any day in the picture it looks constipated

This card is truly a bad card. Truly. Without regeneration, a 1/1 bushido 2 for 4 cast isn't good. But it does have regeneration -- but at a steep cost of 5 life. Now, I understand that aggressive decks shouldn't care about life that much, but that's pushing it.

What are you guys talking about? This card is AWESOME! It might just be the new Chimney Imp! Only costs 1 mana to regenerate, AND it has Bushido! This card is broken! It should be banned from all formats, even Type 1! [/sarcasm]
