this card is incredible if you ask me. you can deck your opponent if you are able to get a few attacks through. first attack you get 5 counters so he is a 10/10 then you get 10 more so he is a 20/20, i mean think of what would happen if you make your opponent discard 20 cards :O

Horrible late game draw. Who cares if I get milled for 5 or even ten? You're dead because your creature couldn't actually damage me. Often times, this is a dead early draw as well because the frickin mana cost is too high in colors where mana accel isn't king (excluding older gems such as dark ritual and such). Ok in casual though.

His alternate way of doing harm is very interesting, true to his flavor. I think this is a cool card as long as u don't get killed TRYING to use it. There are other ways to getting this bad boy in play earlier, just need to be creative.

Dimir Doppelganger for one, 4th turn Szadek, 1st-2nd turn if using T1, first turn Entomb, Animate Dead.

This card with Dimir Doppelganger is insane. Copy Szadek, attack once or twice to get loads of +1/+1 counters. Shift to another creature, guess what, you still got the +1/+1 counters. Or sac him while Combat damage is on the stack. Or just mill. Szadek is one very dangerous flyer for 7 mana.

I played this in my T2 deck for a while, with Annexs and Dimir Signets could get him out by turn five. Once in play makes a major impact, won me a few games. Overall a fun card that works out quite well, but it'll never make pro play.

Combine this card with Vulturous zombie and he more or less DOES do combat damage through the Vulturous Zombie, and one Szadek can pump up an infinite amount of Vulturous zombies.

Excellent card. Great finisher. Two card combo is Szadek and whispersilk cloak. Or even for the block addition an Ethreal Usher. Which is one blue mana for an unblockable. Szadek with this combo can mill 35 cards in three turns AND is a 20/20. I stand by the comment made earlier that this is the second best milling card in Magic. Only Glimpse the Unthinkable is better.

This is a great card to use, he gets powerful very quickly too. Just imagine him with diplomacy even though it can't be used in tournaments it's a great use of cards for casual.

i dunno guys he kinda sucks, he costs way much, and milling your opponent is harder to do then just flat out killing your opponent, Glimpse is very awesome, i must admit though, but this isn't Traumatize is much better, a second turn Traumatize is better then getting this guy out second turn in my opinion

Szadek is definitely one of my favorite cards. It may take a while to play him, but he's definitely worth the wait. And who cares if I can't kill my opponent? His library is completely unprotected.

"here come stinkweed imp and szadek said ouch..." mostly for casual play or fun, will never see any tournament play. (that win) high mana cost that can be better substitute with other card of it block.
