I cant afford this so I just use Chalice of the Void Buy against T1 decks. Damping Matrix Buy got nothing on this!!!

IMO the flavor text is stupid!!! Angry

you pretty much can conquer any nonland permanent heavy deck with this, cursed totem, wrath of god, swords to plowshares, and nevin's disk and some others too possibly.

I'm not sure playing this with a nevin's disk is the best idea. But anyways, this card is great. I'm going with Damping Matrix instead, because I play 1.5/legacy, and I want a little something against the helm/top/brainfreeze combo as well as U/G madness. Figure matrix is the best way to get both, and I can pull it out fairly easily by second turn, though I can get this out first, it's not quite as versatile as matrix for me.

Actually, there is a hug difference between Null Rod Buy and Damping Matrix Buy.

Does affect mana source abilities of artifacts.

Meaning it stop all the moxes. Which is very crucial.

Null Rod Buy is such a powerhouse, its one of those cards that gets a scoop immediately, especially with Chalice of the Void Buy to back it up

To the one above me, it seems that everyone has read the rulings EXCEPT FOR YOU. It does affect mana abilities, and I will even cite my source.

I fell in love with T1 red artifacts, and now I run the risk of paying the price if I ever see this card hit the table.

The flavor text is terrible though. It's not clever which only makes it worse since they broke the English language to try and make it clever.

hehe... go home Moxen and Artifact lands... Even Black Lotus

Magic has lost these kind of mega controlling artifacts, like Tangle Wire, Powder Keg, etc...
