i can think of a few casual decks that can abuse this. someone will find a way to break this.

Another attempt to turn life gain into a real win condition... So far we have this, Sanguine Bond Buy, and Test of Endurance Buy/Felidar Sovereign Buy... prolly a couple more. I have a white Ally deck that usually has more life-gain than damage output; maybe this would help. It's ability is a reworded version of Serra Ascendant Buy (to account for starting life in EDH/2HG?), and will probably be seen along side it alot.
