Official ruling: The only legal way to proxy this card is to use an original Chaos Orb Buy as a proxy. Similar rulings apply to Blacker Lotus Buy.

The thought of ripping up an original Chaos Orb Buy sickens me. Heck, the thought of ripping up any Magic card sickens me, including Chaos Confetti Buy! I couldn't do it.

Ah, but a token copy is different. You can use anything as a token!
...so... why not use a newspaper for your token? Or something bigger?

Also: I love this art!

The flavor text is describing the situation in the finals of the first magic world champs. Bertrand Lestree (playing Channel/Fireball) asked the judges if he cold tear his Chaos Orb into pieces and then flip it against Zak Dolan (playing Angel Stasis). The judges said no. Zak Dolan went on to win.
