Perhaps the most bizarre infinite mana combo ever
Quicksilver Elemental Buy + Nature's Chosen Buy + Illusion Buy
Play Quicksilver Elemental Buy. Use Illusion (Illusion/Reality) to make it white. Enchant it with Nature's Chosen Buy. Tap it to untap an island, then untap it, then play its ability targeting itself, giving it copies of the abilities from Nature's Chosen Buy. Repeat for infinite mana.

why doesn't it work?
You copy the ability of itself (with the enchantment) to untap itself and a land.

can you go over the mana sequence with me...

tap land for 1 blue...tap creature to untap land still 1 blue...tap land again...2 blue...pay 1 blue to give him his own ability....1 blue remaining....untap him for 0...1 blue remaining...tap to untap land....tap land again....2 blue....pay 1 blue....

cycle repeats as before it seems you would need a city of traitors and a mana filter to blue. anyway, that's what I see

the dragon only copies SPELLS not abilities.
you would have to use sylver wyvern to copy abilities.

Lhurg0yf, you're a retard. READ THE CARD!
"gains all ACTIVATED ABILITIES of target creature until end of turn"
Other than that, I like the combo but the mana base is kind of messed up it will, like most infinite mana combos, take a while to set up.

For the benefit of darkis (and everyone else), here is how it works:

You have Quicksilver Elemental Buy out, enchanted with Nature's Chosen Buy and turned white with Illusion (Illusion/Reality). Quicksilver Elemental Buy has one copy of the abilities from Nature's Chosen Buy.

Untap Quicksilver Elemental Buy using the first copy of the ability. Tap it to untap an Island Buy. Make Quicksilver Elemental Buy copy its own abilities. It now has two copies of the abilities.

Untap Quicksilver Elemental Buy using the second copy of the ability. Tap it to untap an Island Buy. Make Quicksilver Elemental Buy copy its own abilities. It now has four copies of the abilities.

Untap Quicksilver Elemental Buy using the third copy of the ability. Tap it to untap an Island Buy. Make Quicksilver Elemental Buy copy its own abilities. It now has eight copies of the abilities.

And so on.

The number of copies of the abilities grows exponentially each time you go through the cycle. When you have enough copies of the abilities, just use them all to untap Island Buys for infinite mana.

sweet combo, you can even use disrupting (or distoring...i'm not sure which one it is) lens in case you need to use it on another turn...good job

never seen this before, could use a Stream of Life Buy for infinite health as well if you have it.

Here's the deal...I understand the idea of creating infinite copies of the spell through doubling the number of copies each time, but isn't the creature still restricted by the limit of only using the ability once per turn? In other words, since the card says "only use this ability once per TURN, doesn't that supercede the copying...in other words, you could copy it, but not use it.....

I'd want an official ruling before trying to run this in a tournament......
