Llanowar Elves are a bit slow in here, and I only need 1 green mana the whole game basically heh.

I would suggest rebuilding the sideboard. it looks like an extension of the deck rather than an effective sideboard.

Judging by the speed it shouldn't have much trouble anyway, but you can't be too careful. I haven't tested any deck like this before, but try using grafted skullcap. It could be interesting, but I haven't tried it. Just an idea to toy around with.

Grafted Skullcap?

Is that the artifact where you discard your hand?
That seems like a really cool SB idea. It can provide some extra gas lategame. Thanks!

this is a very cool deck. i like it alot. im not quite sure what the sideboarded mountain is for, but hey, if its there 4 a reason, keep it by all means. maybe you could switch it for a creature in your deck or something to round it to 60 cards. other than that, it seems pretty stable.

i was just wondering, u rated my b/w deck, and told me to use desolation angel. i feel soo stupid for even asking this, but how does desolation angel guarentee the win really? with braids out there, id have to sac one of them if i wanted the combo to work. im just confused i guess, lol. maybe if you can elaborate a little? id appreciate it very much.

looks good to me! No one combo the deck is built around (my fav.!) but looks really solid and a good balanced 3 colour deck. I would agree that the sideboard is none too special however . . .
PS - thanx for rating my deck!

Trust me, the sideboard works well. Its an actual sideboard, too. All the cards there are designed to defeat an opposing strategy:

3x Roar of the Wurm - Decimates any creature based strategy due to its sheer size. Excels against larger RG beatdown decks with Calls and Skizziks. Absorbs the hit and smashes the creature it blocks.

3x Flametongue Kavu - The #1 creature in Standard currently, hands down. He's only sideboarded because he is too slow for the maindeck. But against any creature based deck he wrecks them. Even if he dies in combat he's already killed one creature when he comes in and then takes another out when attacking/blocking. Great against RG Beatdown or UG Madness/Threshold decks.

3x Duress - Very good black sorcery. Gives me a lot of useful info about the opponent's opening hand so I can plan around it. These 3 Duresses are always brought in against counter-based decks (anything with blue lol) and they dominate any combo decks by ripping the combo pieces from their hand before they are played.

3x Hull Breach - Need I say more?

2x Bearscape - An MVP versus slower decks. This card single handedly beats mono-black control, and for good reason too. Its an enchantment so they can't get rid of it. And mono-black control's mass amounts of creature removal are all Sorcerys. So I create 3 2/2 Bears at their end step. They get pissed off while i attack for 6. They can mutilate if they want on their turn, but I'll repeat the process again. Also great versus Psychatog (if it gets in) and U/W Control.

1x Mountain - The oddball! Bear with me here, lol. The maindeck has 22 lands. The perfect amount, because with your maximum spell costing you 3 mana (4 if you hardcast Violent Eruption) you can get away with very few land. But on the sideboard, you can cleary see Roar of the Wurm and Flametongue Kavu are more expensive at 4 mana. 22 lands and 6 cards that cost 4 mana is too little lands, and having 23 lands maindeck is too many and you'll get landflooded.

That should shore up the sideboard questions. Although I'm open to suggestions for any other cards, cause the Roar of the Wurm is susceptible to bounce spells.

dang this deck looks so fun, taking advantage of most of the good madness/discard cards right now. I like the balance you made for each color especially the burn. The land and creature selection seems right, though I'd move your count down to 60. Nicely organized.

nice deck, seems like the colors are balanced well. sideboard seems to make up for the weaknesses, can't think of a way to change it. Nice job.
