Good idea. What are the relics for? Why dont you put in relentless rats in? Marrow Gnawer would help you after you cloud. Green would help you search for land to cloud and for time of need to get your horobis. I would take out 2 horobi and put in 2 Marrow Gnawer at least.

Can you plz rate my tooth and nail deck.

None of that helps at all.

Relentless Rats = T3h suxor
Its better without green I swear, play it yourself
Marrow Gnawer? Gross Cost too much

Relics in the SB for Affinity? Horobi on the board makes relics deadly as anything. Know what your doing before you rate next time k?

I'd rate your TnN but it says you don't have any decks.

It's a nice deck, but I don't really see the point of having Aether Vial Buys in the deck. Yeah, it provides pseudo-mana acceleration, but I don't think the deck needs four. Maybe take two out and up the Chrome Mox Buy count up. I'm also not completely clear on what your win condition is. Death Cloud Buy alone generally doesn't win games, at least from what I've seen. Kokusho, the Evening Star Buy could work but since you aren't playing mana acceleration, Patron of the Nezumi Buy or maybe even [/card]Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni[/card] (both of them are even on theme) could help. Ink-Eyes is pretty damn good when you can Ninjutsu her out.

sweet deck. ummmmmmmmmmm........ theres not much to improve (in my view atleast) except maybe add imi statue to your sideboard. where i play affinity is heavy so i atleast sideboard it. also, dampning matrix wouldn't be bad either.

I was thinking dampening matrix for the SB to stop KCI but I couldn't figure out what to remove. So for KCI I just force them to discard their combo pieces... Meh it works.

Aether Vials: Allow me instant discard, and allows me to play rats while still having mana open for spells. See: Mana Curve.

My win condition: Play rats and make them discard or put cards on top of their deck. Flip shortfang to have them lose life. Swing with Rats while they have nothing down, swing with Yukora. Finsher is usually death cloud for 4 or 5, but it can be used earlier to give me board advantage.

Aether Vial is great; it was better when Skullclamp was still here, but oh well. You need mian deck Plaguebearers, which just shut down landstill. This deck needs green for Eternal Witness, Multani's Acolyte, Sakura Tribe Elder, and Living Wish. You're gonna need another Nezumi Shortfang, and take out mana acceleration that isn't a creature. If you play Aether Vial, you play with cards that have what we like to call synergy with it, that is to say, they go well together. Those would be called creatures. If you don't add useful spells to your deck, just stop playing Magic and give your cards away, seriously.
Since this deck will have problems versus a lot of decks you need to add had destruction.

chittering rats seems out of tune . when you have an aether vial, you should run creatures with the same mana costs. maybe nezumi cutthroat.
but one thing i dont find too well is the death cloud. from what ive seen in pox decks, they use no creatures and if they do, it can revive itself very easy. just doesnt seem like that good a combination. but you did establish quite a good theme and have originality.
please rate my deck, heart of darkness. i also have 2 other decks which should not be taken seriusly they're fun decksHappy

Unfortunately none of you know why vial is good in this and what this deck does. Toolz has done a bad job of explaing it.

Vial is there because of the creatures mana curve. The curve goes from 1B, to 1BB to 4. As you put counters on vial you vial creatures into play. Also after you DC vial sticks around to put more creatures into play. Sounds like a good deal. About mid game this deck likes to death cloud depending on it's board position. This will leave it with no creatures and 2-3 lands, your opponent will not have anything unless he's playing mana accell.

Now why not green? It's because Rat cloud and BG cloud are 2 differnt decks. BG plays no beats, and instead clouds then lays down a fatty in the form of west side massive(kokusho). Because he's playing mono black and not BG he can run little weenies and beats to beat the sh*t out of his opponent early game then cloud then continueing the beating.

Cranial Extraction for TnN, Kiki Freshmaker, pretty much every deck that can be shut down by removing 1 card.

i do like the idea. and the aether vial is a good touch here especially to recover from cloud.
what do you do about echoing decay and mass removal? i understand most decks that run that you can deathcloud into the ground, but what if they save those cards for afterwards?

Save those cards for afterwords? Most of the time it will just be a matter of topdecking for them since after deathcloud, they should have no cards in their hand. And even if they decay like a chittering rat? Its ok if they die, they are still getting beat in the face by yukora and nexus. So in short -- Echoing Decay and the like are not a problem I'm worried about.
