I woud turn it into mono black, add Wasteland Buy and Strip Mine Buy instead of rishadan ports, and also add Null Rod Buy (or Gorilla Shaman (2) Buy in case u still playin red). Lands are the most important mana-producing stuff but not the only.
City of Brass Buy is too painful, and there's no need for Argothian Wurm Buy as they shudn't have lands in play; any big black guy woud do the work.
Rancid Earth Buy is there better than Rain of Tears Buy as it only harms ur blood pet, wich is never a great loss, so I woud exchange it's number, I mean, -2 RoT, +2 RE.
If u wanna play the 'lock-down' way with Panoptic Mirror Buy u coud try a Solfatara Buy (I think there's at least another card with a different name doing the same), tho it will never be as broken as an imrpinted Time Walk Buy is, but it's really hard to beat.
A few discard there woud be great, something like Duress Buy to stop them at first, or Blackmail Buy wich allows you to choose a land (obviously it gets better as more discard u play but it's not a bad card), or even Encroach Buy if in ur metagame they use to play mostly non basic lands. Hypnotic Specter Buy woud also be a nice threat, while discarting what they cannot play at the moment.
I shoud also include some graveyard hate, like Tormod's Crypt Buy, Leyline of the Void Buy, etc, to make sure lands u detroy don't go back to play (¡Crucible of Worlds Buy!) whereas some combo are neutralized.

Hope u find it useful
best regardes, Leviathan

You should start with at least one thing the guy in the above post suggested. You haven't changed a thing.

Now it's updated.... first of Strip Mine Buy is restricted so i can only run 1.... i have wanted to use Wasteland Buy for a long time but my meta never really use any non-basic lands (except for one guy but the Monkey got his arse ;) )..... same with Null Rod Buy, no one really uses mana artifacts in my meta.....Rishadan Port Buy is nice against counter magic because you can tap them out during their upkeep and then in your next turn you can cast spells without getting countered (not taking Fórce of will into account).... and if you don't draw any LD you can just tap the out.... City of Brass Buy is what makes this deck go around (right now anyways) and the damage isn't that much of a pain.... you win the game on 3 or 4 life but thats the thrill of it ;).... panoptic is really just in there to secure your lock down when its already there... and just for the look on your opponents face when you imprint a Vindicate Buy..... but actually i thought of getting a Time Warp Buy for it ;)..... as for graveyard hate i think im gonna rely on them not getting Crucible of Worlds Buy into play or destroy it with vindicate..... but i thought of getting a crucible for myself to go with the strip mine, but it would be more fun with some wasteland to boot..... Duress Buy could be nice because it could take care of pesky mana artifacts, but it doesn't handle lands very well Sad.... and last but not least (!) Hypnotic Specter Buy... it could actually be nice with some specters in the deck instead of the Argothian Wurm Buy and perhaps some of the other spells... they can opposed to duress discard their lands (among other stuff) and with flying it would be a nice finisher as well when you got the lock down.... i will try to work on getting some specters!

I gave a few test runs of your deck against my attempt at a standard Landstill deck. Its a very tough matchup I've found for Landkill (i.e. not to be confused with LandSTILL) decks (I've created my own landkill called "imminent eviction" posted here so am familiar with the problems you face.) Landstill is probably about as bad a matchup for landkill decks to go against, so for playtest purposes it may be a bit unfair, but anway...

What I can say is that in vintage, if you don't run Strip Mine Buy with some sort of recursive ability via either Crucible of Worlds Buy or Life from the Loam Buy you are going to be in trouble right off the bat
as you really need an early lock. Also, I think most vintage decks do run non-standard lands, therefore making Wasteland Buy important at least in the sideboard.

You have good mana acceleration, which certainly is to the benefit of this deck. You may wish to playtest against some decks like "survival of fittest" decks, "the Rock" decks, and esp. counterspell/control decks. I think you'll find the most difficult matchup against the later type (or at least thats my experience).

In particular, I don't think you'll find your Rishadan Port Buy's will offer you the amount of support you think they will against blue control, mainly because of the likes of Force of Will Buy and Misdirection Buy where opponent won't need a single untapped land to either counter your landkill for the turn OR to turn it back on you.

Obviously, you are making a deck where you can spend real cash, so the big money cards are not possible in this build...understandable...but without them (Sinkhole Buy) landkill vintage will suffer badly I'm afraid.

It doesn't reflect upon you at all, just reflects upon the fact that WoTC and the powers that be with MtG have decided not to offer landkill any real power cards...which is a shame, because its a build area I really enjoy.

Please playtest your deck against my Landstill deck a few times and play around with your deck some to find cards that will help against that style of control. It will help hone it a bit.

I really do like your attempt at the different colors.

Braids, Cabal Minion Buy is an excellent card in a black oriented and accelerated LD deck. I might suggest however, that you need some sort of land recursion for him not to do you in at the same time.

Hey went for almost all your ideas Happy Made the deck into what i would like to think of as a lite Stax build. The reason is more re-useable destroy and sacrificing effects to make a harder lock-down thats not dependant of good top decking.

I think I would eliminate red and green from this deck. If you are destroying opponents land I do not think you want them to get to draw 7 cards. Plus eliminating red and green would make you less reliable on city of brass. You could also add Cataclysm to make everyone sack down to 1 land 1 creature 1 artifact. Would work well with strip mine.

Please rate my control and dreams deck.

Crop Rotation Buy is the most used non-blue restricted card in Stax.... So no, I'm not taking it out.... The importance of getting a turn 1 Ancient Tomb Buy (would be Mishra's Workshop Buy in real stax Happy ) keeps it in there... also the potential to find a mid/late game Strip Mine Buy.... as for removing red, I'm not going for that either.... Gorilla Shaman (2) Buy is an important Vintage lock piece... You won't imagine how many dollars worth of moxes this guy eats a year..... also Goblin Welder Buy is red and this card is a must for every Stax deck (i know it's not in there yet but trying to get some on ebay !)..... with the Wheel of Fortune Buy i can se your point, but when i can empty my hand by the second turn it's nice to restock.... or if you can get it played turn 1 having emptied your hand of mana artifacts = advantage! as for Cataclysm Buy it has {W}{W} in it's cost making me rely more on colored mana then i already am.....

Put in Darksteel Colossus Buy!! XD Just kidding! As for the sideboard, you should throw in some Null Rod Buys for the mirror match, some Uba Mask Buys, and some Tormod's Crypt Buys to use against Manaless Ichorid. Also consider Karn, Silver Golem Buy. With those in, you could change the deck to be UbaStax while boarding, if you choose. I think Barbarian Ring Buy could be squeezed into your mana base, or at least the sideboard. Jester's Scepter Buy? Maybe? It has some synergy with Goblin Welder Buy. My puny Oath deck bows to your deck. (BTW, could you rate that one for me?) Hope I helped!

I actually have been thinking about adding Barbarian Ring Buy for the last 2 weeks, so when i get my hands on one i will put it in... I know i need a Karn, Silver Golem Buy, but just don't want anymore creatures in the deck and cant decide if i want to take any of the 3 out(7 minus 4 welders ;) )... dont think I'll be adding Null Rod Buy when i got Chalice of the Void Buy.... they really just screw up artifact mana, and so does the Chalices....
I like the idea of Jester's Scepter Buy i just fear it's to slow to do any good.... Perhaps i will add Uba Mask Buy to the sideboard if I can find a slot for it.....

i would suggest running leyline of the void sideboard to completely oust combo, flash and ichorid. other than that this deck seems like a decent unpowered 5c stax deck. rate one of my decks plz. Happy

No Land Tax Buy, Goblin Charbelcher Buy, Zuran Orb Buy and Armageddon Buy?

I've been playing against legacy stax decks of the above type, and I hate them ;)

Never played against yours, so I wonder which would work better.

Please review my Doran, exploited.

This is Vintage Stax not Legacy.... There's more power in this version because of the Workshops and all the other resticted bombs which are banned in Legacy.... Of course the most powerful restricted cards are the moxes, but I'm still trying to convince myself to get them....

Just a question: Why would any Stax be it Legacy or Vintage ever want to play with the Goblin Charbelcher Buy?
