yay i have no idea how this deck works other than it looks like a straight creature beatdown with alot of tricks up its sleeves....o ya your forgot one of my favorites legends Volrath the Fallen Buy

i know he isent playable but you should put Ertai, the Corrupted (2) Buy on the sideboard

I thought about those two cards when I made my decklist. Volrath the Fallen Buy doesn't seem "sadly evil" enough to make the cut. He's only fallen because he fell from power - he didn't fall from grace.

Ertai just didn't make it due to the color restrictions. If I make a five color version, I might revisit him.

And you are right - the deck runs like a beatdown deck, then runs into all kinds of goofy tricks. It isn't very consistant due to the several one-ofs, but Demonic Tutor Buy helps me fish for what I need, and I can get my creatures back with the oath and breath of life.

Wow, I'm impressed. Not that many people can come up with something like this, amazing. Major Props on this one.

I like it! I enjoy theme decks. I haven't seen one like this before.

Play testing it, it seems to work okay. I am having a bit of trouble getting white mana (testing it on apprentice), but other than that, it seems pretty fun to play.

Yeah, mana problems could be an issue. The problem with this kind of theme deck is that is it very difficult to fit in mana acceleration into the theme. :P

I love the story and idea behind this deck. It is really cool how you took a group of cards and wove them into such a tight theme deck. Very cool. Thanks very much for the rate, too.

Nice Story!
I would add the Lake of the Dead Buy.
I think it also fits into the theme.

Hmm. Maybe Lake of the Dead Buy is as close as I can get to mana acceleration for this deck. Still doesn't solve my {W} mana problem. =P

I changed my mana base a bit, but I am hearing some good news from the rumor mill about Guildpact. The new Swamp-Plains land would do me well, and they are coming out with an "Angel of Despair," which would fit the theme well.

Just some suggestions I took the time to put togethor and consider. Please rate my Black Burn

Ivory Mask Buy-The good but corrupted hide behind a mask innocence.
Reflecting Pool Buy-This card is great for mana problems like WW or BB. (Reflect on past sins and find the road to salvation within oneself.)

Maybe add 4 Darkest Hour Buy (Some let their the demon out and follow their darkest dream.), and 4 Disciple of Grace Buy (The Order of the Church, and the Exorcists of Evil.)

And if you don't add that combo then perhaps add it to your sideboard and also add Disciple of Malice Buy-(Acolytes that have been shown the Demon's Baptism.)

And to bet sensible you might want to add Last Gasp Buy instead of Torment Buy.

It is really hard for me to justify removing Torment Buy since the deck is called "The Tormented." It fits the theme too well, while Last Gasp Buy only midly fits.

I want the creatures in the deck to be "The Tormented", so the Disciple of Grace Buy doesn't fit. Darkest Hour Buy fits great (for pretty obvious reasons I would think). Disciple of Malice Buy doesn't really fit, since he isn't "sadly evil" - he totally embraces his place in the darkness.

I really like Reflecting Pool Buy as well. Ivory Mask Buy is a bit of a stretch, so I'm not going for it.

Thanks for the suggestions! Cards I am also considering:

Karmic Guide Buy, Tempest of Light Buy
Night's Whisper Buy, Path of Peace Buy
Torture Buy, Broken Visage Buy
Sadistic Glee Buy, Fallen Cleric Buy
Conviction Buy, Planar Despair Buy
False Peace Buy, Peace of Mind Buy

Wow! Very Good! You must of put a lot of time into this deck. The only flaw I see is mana. Otherwise nice job.

How did I overlook Tortured Existence Buy? That card really fits the theme.

Other cards I thought about:

Abandon Hope Buy, Purify Buy and Diabolic Servitude Buy

Thanks again for the comments!
