Love the modifications Joeboe...much better now. Im glad you took out the Spellbook Buy's, those served no point at all in an Affinity deck. The Ornithopter Buy's were a great choice... {0} cost defender for Affinity accelerant, nice work.
Those blasted Vedalken Archmage Buy dominate in this deck. Endless card draw, amazing.
I STILL can't beleive you got the player-set of Darksteel Colossus Buy's for that price! Lucky dog!

Great deck! Tough as hell to beat. I think the ONLY time I had beat it, was when I gained 1000 life with my Daru Spiritualist Buy combo.

Allowed to go, this deck can be absolutely devastating. But as all artifact decks it can be wrecked with shatter type effects. I love the Colossus hitting the table however. I thow you worked out some colored cards out of the mix, but the addition of Thoughtcast Buy could really help you fill that hand up.

Please have a look at my affinity deck and tell me what you think.

That's true what you say about Artifact decks, and I have had that in mind all along while building this one. My only hope against that is that it is fast enough to do it's damage before it's smashed to bits. It seems like all of the really strong deck types have a polarity issue. I have a nice Dimir Mill deck that has a really hard time against reanimators, for obvious reasons.

I've added Howling Mine Buy to help keep my hand full. It really does the trick, and I can keep it from benefiting my opponent by tapping it for the Lodestone Myr Buy at the end of my turn ;)

I like the addition of the Howling Mine Buy I play tested your build last night on MWS and liked the results. I added in 2 Glimmervoid Buy in place of a couple artifact lands to increase the blue. I was shocked at how quickly it built up. The deck goes from light offense to 15 creatures and tokens out in 2-3 good turns with the card draw and affinity. Great build! Now you need a sideboard Happy

Thanks for the suggestion. I took out all of the colored affinity spells because they actually slow the deck down. I put in a Howling Mine Buy as an alternative to the Vedalken Archmage Buy, which has really paid off for card draw.

Thanks for the high rating. I try to rate decks or combos for everyone who posts on mine. I can't, however find the deck that you refered to. Are you certain it is public?

I've seen this deck play out. It consistently kicks out 20 or more creatures by end of round 4. Almost always a turn 5 win.

i liked thi deck very much... but i have to tell you, that you have to take into account that kataki exists... i tried this deck with 2 x sundering titan and 1 DC... and i think it's very powerful...

Yes, it's true that kataki will stop this dead in its tracks. Most decks that are really strong toward one direction have a single card (or a couple of cards) that will just kill them. Dredge decks and reanimators just don't work if Leyline of the Void Buy is out. I guess to keep that in mind, it would be a good idea to sideboard some disenchant of some kind and probably some counterspell.

Thanks for the great comments.

Looks great.

What about a Whispersilk Cloak Buy to be attached to the Colossus? ;)

Would you rate my deck please?

I have this deck! I love it, but I made it with some modifications. For example, you must take into account Kataki... It's one of our worst nightmares... I included 3 shock and 2 darkblast in the main deck... Another thing that is very important for me, just put 1 or 2 Darksteel Colossus, and you can include Sundering Titan, which is very bothering. Make you opponent sacrifice lands, and the sacrifice it again with Arcbound Ravager, and make him/ her sacrifice more lands... It's vry powerful. You can change the Green Artifac Lands and put 2 Glimmervoid instead; they're graat. As regards to the Sideboard, just put 2 Pithing Needle, 3 Terminate, 3 Mana Leak, 2 Duress/ Cabal Therapy, 3 Enginereed Plague and 2 Force Spike. It's one one of the greatest decks I have ever made...

Out of curiosity, what did you swap out for these?

It's a good affinity deck. I would suggest Broodstar Buy as a creature to complement the collosus, but it's not a big deal because you have a lot of card-draw to get him out.

Hm. You can pump the Lodestone Myr Buy every turn with Howling Mine Buy to prevent your opponents from drawing extra cards. Clever.

I LOVE this deck.

Seeing as the above comments are 2007 and older I've got a few suggestions to bring the deck into the times.

1. I'd suggest swapping Darksteel Colossus for Blightsteel Colossus. Easy choice.

2. Swap the Lodestone Myrs for Myr Battlespheres. The extra mana cost shouldn't be a problem for this deck and the battlesphere itself adds five more artifact creatures.
In the example you gave say instead of the Myr Enforcer you drew a Myr Battlesphere, by turn two you'd have a fatty capable for swinging as a 14/7 that deals ten direct damage on top of the Colossus.
