Thanks for rating my Counterpost deck. Top and cloak really don't fit here....Top doesn't actually net you any real CA and U/W/g control needs all the extra mana for counters. Cloak is bad because I only have a handful of win conditions....and by the time they hit play, it should be GG anyhow.

Okay, the first suggestion I'd offer is replacing pacifism with Faith's Fetters. For 2 more mana, it nets 4 life and can target anything. Soul Warden was a good call.....as he can swing the game in your favor in 1 turn. You said your having trouble with Zoo....Wog, Condemn, Fetter should win you 90% of your aggro matchups pre board. Cards like Kiyomaro and Ivory Mask and Story Circle will also improve your chances post board. Herald is sweet, buit not really in this deck. Spell Snare is another counterspell you may want to consider. I think splashing black for orzhov pontiff(1 sided WoG could be very nice).....plus black will give you access to Blood Funnel.

Dual lands...don't fit. Soemtimes they'd be nice, but normally they're a bother. Since my mana balance is uaually in my favor.

I'd have to say your deck is better off with Divining Top than the Herald as you can keep filtering cards.

Anyways please rate my Regionals 2006 deck...thx Happy

I have two points to make about this deck list. Although the strategy is fine, the tuning of the deck is not. You may find yourself wanting your deck to be different colors when considering your sideboard options even. I looked at your SB and I noticed for Plains. I strongly feel that if your deck can not pack an appropriate sideboard plan with the mana base your maindeck already has than you are taking away valuable options in your sideboard for land slots. You use four plains in your side. That could be four more "Spells" instead with a sideboard tuned to your own mana base before games one and two where your plains come in. You may say that this deck will not suffer from adding plains from the sideboard in games, but that isn't the point. A flaw in magic deck design in my 13 years of playing the game is when I see a player wasting good slots for lands in their sideboard. This shouldn't be an issue. I strongly feel the deck should be tune appropriately to fit the mana you need pre board, otherwise your color options may be out of sync with the decklist itself.

Another thing I see that may need fixing (by may I mean most definitely) is that you run 61 cards. No well tuned deck should ever be running more than 60. This has been a rule of competitive Magic since the beginning and I am sure if you try to adjust your deck accordingly you will see the results instantly.

add balck for orzhov pontiff adn blood funnel, adn for nights of souls betrayal, then add in glorious anthem... this way, you can glorious, then all spells get tokens, that are bigger, they dont get tokens... they die...

bloode funnel for speed.

then you need promise of bruni, this works with the funnel...

then you need some nantoku husk to have a bigg kill... with the souls betrayal out, they get little to no creatures...

then hit up 4 gifts ungiven... you need then as search!

then get cranial extraction x1, just for gifts...

sky husser, for crazy draw, thats what you need... right?

drowned ruskalka, just for draw power again...

worship stall win

ghostly prison for stall

maybe some mortify..

adn definitly

PRIDE OF CLOUDS!!!

easy..
now...

IMPROVE!!!

Nice deck, only suggestion I would have would be to try and work in a few spells with X in the cost, Dovescape loves X costed spells as it counters them when there on the stack, and when x is on the stack it's whatever you payed for it, so it really helps to get out large number of tokens, Few suggestions for them would be like:
Festival of the Guildpact
Hail of Arrows

or for blue:
Repeal
SkyScribing

And for Green:
Enshrined Memories
Stream of Life
Supply // Demand
Weird Harvest

maybe sideboard them and try it out seeing as your sideboard is a little lacking

Cool deck. My friend has a deck like this. But he incorporates Glare of the Subdual. And what about your sideboard? Priveleged Postion? Or how bout a big "for the kill" creatures like Yosei or Keiga. Otherwise great deck. Plz rate my Grand Arbiter Owling Mine deck.

I run something very similar...and I had an idea... What if we added like 2 Boseju and then a Storm Herd or Two? With all the life gain think of how many tokens you would get and how unstopable an army of Pegasi are!

Spell Snare Buy and Naturalize Buy may help as a sideboard option. Your howler may not be enough.

I would offer more, but I am not sure of how much your deck depends on its particular mana base.

Could you give advice for my Odd Ball deck.
