Maybe Phyrexian Arena to draw up your control and lands...otherwise it looks pretty nice.

Thanks for the rate. One with Nothing Buy is good for a couple of your cards with hellbent.

i would think about adding Blood Moon Buy in the side. Also Char Buy is crazy and Sulfurous Springs Buy is good too.

Yeah, Char Buy is really good (even though I don't like to admit it). Perhaps some Dark Confidant Buys for a nice two drop that gives you more card advantage and doesn't really hurt you all that much considering your mana curve or you might prefer one more Phyrexian Arena Buy. To tell the truth, I would have thought that running more discard/disruptive creatures would be better than running a bit of land destruction but that's just me. You could run things like Fall (Rise/Fall) or Ravenous Rats Buy. A nice creature that might be a big help is Avatar of Discord Buy.

Please rate my W/G/B Control.

yeah...I was running avatar at one point and she is in the old beat version that I have posted...she just ends up being to hand to get out. also Rav rats seem pretty good.

oh and Land D takes a lot of deck (like zoo) apart.

overall the deck i good but i really dont see the the point of having a Phyrexian Arena Buy in this deck no way of swapping enchantments with opponet to make them to lose life in order to draw.plz r8 my two decks. once again good deck

Not usually a fan of r/b but i have to say what you have here ain't shabby at all. Now, I guess you're gonna try to keep things standard but if you aren't here are a few suggestions:

Bottomless Pit
Terminate
Strength of Lunacy
Posessed Barbarian

well since you probably are using a standard-deck, i'd just about say that it doesnt' really need that much tweaking, its looking good as it is. Keep up the good work.

Well, I looked at your mana base, because that's my expertise, and I think I see why you're not putting in the R/B painland - so Blood Moon doesn't hurt you much. But I'd still try the lovely Sulfurous Springs Buy. Then again, at 2 colors with low colored costs you should be okay.

In any event, I'd recommend increasing your black mana count vs red mana. Say, -1 Mountain, +1 Swamp (or -2/+2). The reason is that you have double black spells earlier in the game than double red and more double black period. (Hand of Cruelty, Phyrexian Arena, Mindslicer are Turn 2, 3, 4. Rakdos Dragon-thing is turn 5.)

It won't save you many more games, but it should make a difference in the long run. I could give you a more exact analysis, but I haven't written my program for complete mana optimization yet ;)

I don't know how good it is, but you could consider Rakdos Riteknife Buy. Being a creature heavy deck you'll be getting your creatures killed/fettered anyways, so you might as well sac them and get use of them. (Or have that Putrefy target the knife instead of your creature.) And if you get a few counters, you get both a few more damage a turn and you can force the creatureless control player to sac some enchantments, artifacts, or lands.

At any rate, the deck looks good and difficult to beat. Just consider the increase in black mana.

Thanks for rating my deck. I dont like the guild mage. I have had a chance to play with it alot and it is just too pricey for what it does. If you are having a problem with white drop the guild mage and add 2 more hands. Other than that and 9th land I like it.

i'm suprised this deck gets hosed by white. if it does, you need more hands of cruelty, and obviously board in your rain of gores and flashfires. rain of gore, in my opinion at least, was created to take white down a notch in standard. it destroys whites three card trio of "sacred nectar" permanants.

that whole paladin en-vac with the jitte just intsa beats me. I can control most r/w build but b/w just tears me apart. it's a race for the jitte but maybe more hands would be good. also i haven't played it much since i added those to the board. I'm hoping that they'll work out for me.

you might want to consider hit (hit/run) as alot of people are playing the Simic Sky Swallower Buy which is devastating if it hits the board and you have no answers (although i assume you would rely on your land destruction and augermages to deal with that) also Stinkweed Imp Buy is a fairly nice addition for protection against flying armies, also if white decks give you such problems you might want to try Pyroclasm Buy to deal with armies of weenies, although it seems it would kill your creatures too

well in my meta the guildmage is pretty good. You see alot of heartbeat decks and with the land destruction, burn, and removal I would call this a control deck. not full control but at least partial and good enough for me to sweep in once in a while.
