This is a start, but the deck is terribly slow. Consider dropping the mana curve by adding small powerhouses such as Carrion Feeder, Withered Wretch, and especially Lord of the Undead. Where are your Patriarch's Bidding and Call to the Grave? And Dragon Shadow serves NO purpose in this deck.

I've never had a real problem with this deck being too slow, because once I get a warchief out everything becomes cheaper. If I get some LotU's or Pat's Biddings I may put them in (definitely LotU's). And you're right I took out the Shadows and put in Dirge's because the cycling ability can speed things along for me as well as provide fear.

Rakdos Guildmage Buy has GOT to get in here. 2/2 for 2, reusable removal, and he's a zombie, plus as an uncommon he's easy to find...he's really good, even if you don't have red. Drop the Blind Creeper Buys for him ASAP. Woebearer Buy should be Lord of the Undead Buy of course, but you probably already know that. LotU's a fairly budget rare (cheper than the Warchief at any rate), so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting some if you look hard enough. Also, that Balthor should be a fourth Warchief. As you may have noticed, an Unholy Strength Buy for all your creatures in addition to a Jet Medallion Buy is incredibly useful, and even more useful in multiples, so you should maximize your odds of getting out as many Warchiefs as possible. Use Unholy Grotto Buy as well; it's easy to fit in because it doesn't count as a spell. Another card that's incredibly powerful for Zombie decks is Noxious Ghoul Buy. With enough chep zombies to play around with, or even without, he'll decimate an opposing army with little effort and leave yours untouched. Another great card, but one that's rather difficult to find, is Sarcomancy Buy. It's a 2/2 for one mana with no drawback, what's to say? I don't know if you were already aware of how good it is, but I figured I'd remind you to keep an eye out for trades in case you searched the database for zombies and it didn't show up by virtue of being an enchantment. Dirge of Dread Buy should be Cover of Darkness Buy and Dark Banishing Buy should be Sudden Death Buy. You could also try out Call to the Grave Buy, Stromgald Crusader Buy, Skulking Knight Buy, Carnophage Buy, Sangrophage Buy, Shepherd of Rot Buy, Gempalm Polluter Buy...just off the top of my head, those guys might be worth testing out sometime. The Polluter in particular is especially good with Lord of the Undead Buy. Skulking Knight Buy too, since it dies so often. Bottom line is, you've got a good start, but the specific zombies you're using aren't the most efficient ones. A faster deck that can kill your Warchiefs should be able to beat you easily. Focus on gradually obtaining new zombies that are better than the ones already in your deck, but otherwise keep your deck's framework the same except to lower your curve when possible. Keep track of the turn you win while doing this, and eventually you start beating your opponents sooner if things are going well. When you're winning faster make appropriate adjustments. (E.g. if you generally win by turn six, there's little point in Woebearer Buy. Etc.) I can see that it needs more testing, but like I said, it's a good start. Would you perhaps rate this combo: http://www.essentialmagic.com/Combos/CommentsAndRatings.asp?ID=56344 I only need two more rates to get combo of the day...can you help me out?

Good deck. Nice budget buid. All I would suggest is diabolic edict instead of the dark banishing. it's instant speed, gets rid of black creatures, indestructible creatures, creatures with pro black and with shroud. Im terrible with tribal decks so Kudos to you.
