look at elves for fun. The best elf deck ive seen youll learn alot just by looking at it. Good luck! it looks like you have the beginnings of a good deck here.

yes i think ambush comander would be a good add to your deck.. maybe also gaeas cradle and priest of titania. and i really think you need an option to draw cards like Collective Unconscious..

I took out elvish commanders and elvish herders for 4 scouts a wellwisher and another tutor replaced 2 more forests with wirewood lodges(doubletapping timbers is fun Also ambush commander costs too much for this deck(the only reason im not using it) but other than that is very useful

The best part about an elf deck is the low mana requirements of most elves. For an example my elf deck runs just 16 basic lands, I would recommend finding room for Llanowar Elves Buy, with 4 of those and 4 of the Fyndhorn you will rarely miss a turn 1 drop for more mana. Another extremely useful elf that goes well with Timberwatch is Seeker of Skybreak Buy, who essentially serves as a second Timberwatch, Llanowar, etc. I personally run my wellwishers as they serve as a bit of a life buffer, rather than using fogs. And once again, they work well with the seeker. Another useful card to use against globabl removal / burn is Caller of the Claw Buy which trades your elves for bear tokens, should they blow up. Maybe for a few more ideas check my own elf deck http://essentialmagic.com/decks/View.asp?ID=555622

Thanx 4 the R8. Ahhh elves, good memories. I made an elf deck for/with a girlfriend I had back in the day. I wish I could've kept that deck. Our spin was to use Wirewood Hivemaster Buy, Tribal Forcemage Buy and Echoing Courage Buy along with the taunting, timberwathch's, scout's and the pride's. So the elves had a bit of help bringing down the pimp hand. Your deck is solid, although like all elf decks it's weak point is mass removal. Caller of the Claw Buy would be a solution.

I would put in aluren, some of the classic elves like wellwisher, titania, and then well of lost dreams to get some serious card draw and drop. Harmonise (ms) would be good to keep hand filled. Elves are always very playable, improve synergy with card draw. originality is hard with elves. Deck looks like fun, I'm sure that it hits hard when it does.
