A cool deck, my only suggestion for this would be to replace the lens' with Megrim Buy's. That way you can benefit off of both the draw AND discard. I've seen dreams + megrim kill many a player, especially with magus of the jar. I hope this helped.

Please rate my Boggart Bonanza deck.

Pretty nice overall. I'd say my only issues would be that you don't have much of away of dealing against fast aggro decks, so would suggest some more faster creature destruction perhaps some inversions or something like it. And i would suggest switching out some of the cancels for cryptic commands for some more versatility. Nice though.

Hey, thanks for the rate! Well, first nice deck, and second heres my rate, I would add a couple of Damnation Buys and switch some of the Cancel Buys for some Cryptic Command Buys, this way you get more bang for your buck. That's all I have for now, good luck with the deck!

i would recommend River of Tears Buy so that you can cast cryptic command easier. Underground River Buy doesn't seem like enough

I'm not sure if you would want to put in at most 2 Urza's Factory since you don't have many creatures or Faerie Conclave so you can have 2/1 fliers.

My Friend made a similar deck but used Rings of Brighthearth to double Jaces "Traumatize" ability or any other planeswalker ability. He also used Clockspinning with buyback to increase the loyalty counters on his planeswalkers.

You'd have to alter a few other choices, but an awesome card to combo with Magus of the Jar Buy is thousand-year elixer, which makes them draw and discard fourteen without the awkward turn of summoning sickness. And yes, you can do that, even though the ability says sacrifice.

Unfortunately, the three-drop is already pretty clogged. I dunno, I would try it out if I had a deck like that.

Rate Might Morphin' Power Shifter.

hey thx for r8ing my gia flare.i what you have goin on here but it looks like you could have issues with aggro. I would suggest maybe replacing the boomerangs with unsummons and adding some deserts or quicksands. also if it is in your budget replace 2 cryptics with 2 damnations. thats my 2 cents good luck with the deck and drop in a line some time and tell me how it does.

First off, I would run 4 Damnation Buys mainboard. With 4 creatures, destroying everything is awesome (I would sideboard Sudden Death Buy).

Another problem I see is the mana base. You have several cards that require atleast 2 of one color to play. You also have 4 Terramorphic Expanse Buys and only 1 Island Buy and Swamp Buy. I'd throw out the Terramorphic Expanse Buys for more basic lands and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth Buy. With this card, you could get away with Tendrils of Corruption Buy for board control.

You should probably go with more card draw too. Mulldrifter Buy is always a top choice, as it gives options. Also since you have a discard theme here as well, you should atleast sideboard Extirpate Buy.

That's all the madness I have today... overall, good idea, just needs tweaking.

I'm skeptical about the mana base.

Considering all lands equally, about 27% of the time you're going to fail to get the 4th turn drop if you start with 3 mana in hand and you go first. This means that gaining the huge advantage of first turn can be lost completely over a quarter of the time.

Terramorphic Expanse worsens your chances, because you're taking more mana out, worsening every chance after that will be a land. So every Expanse in your starting hand hurts more.

This wouldn't be so important if just under two-thirds of your deck weren't turn 4 plays or more, 4 of your turn 3 drops will hardly see play (only 8% of the time you'll get an Urborg by turn 3), and 7 of the turn 3s won't actually help you much until you get turn 4 drops (Megrim + Wistful Thinking could be nice in the mean time, but it doesn't really push your side of the board much).. The best battle-plan isn't to walk in knowing that 1/4 games you're not going to get nearly enough land to fuel the largest section of your deck.

Each time you get put in a scenario like this, you only have one card that can draw you cards with your 3 mana: Jace (actually, Wistful Thinking could, but I don't think targeting yourself with that's smart).

I dunno, this deck seems... risky. You're walking into the game knowing that it will fizzle around 1/4th of the time.

THAT SAID, I actually love this sort of deck. I designed a deck with a similar idea for a friend of mine... it runs into mana issues. Several games I've seen it comes down to whether he gets the right mana at the right time or not. There's not much room for card drawing.

My recommendation: drop the Forced Fruition. Its overkill. Magus of the Jar, Wistful Thinking, Careful Consideration, Jace, etc. are all doing its job. Forced gives them way too big of a hand and gives them huge access to the outs they need to draw into to beat you. It also is a turn 6 play, which means its usefulness is limited.

(PS: Urza's Factory also seems like it would be hard to get to... this kind of deck doesn't really reach stalemates; it either gets beat down or beats them down. I'm a Faerie Conclave fan tbh...)

Anyway, hope that's enough of a critique :P. Sorry if anything seems badly worded. Its almost 2, lol.

Btw, thanks for rating my Merfolk ^_^
