I notice one major thing about your deck that I would change- order of the golden cricket. Not a bad card, but considering your creature base, I would say it would be good to drop it for something that acts more as a finisher. Other than that, I might focus a little more on the counter, but that would just be me. Not a bad deck though. If you are looking for inpiration, I would suggest maybe looking at pickles decks. I know you probably don't want to copy them, but they may offer suggestions as to what cards may be better.

If you're going to run Islands and Plains, why not Nimbus Maze Buy? Its a great addition to any w/u deck that runs basics.

ROFL nice... especially originality. For annoyance, how about Time Stop Buy? They draw Blaze Buy. "I hit you for 14!" Time Stop Buy; "No you don't. It's my turn."

Well, it looks pretty good as is, but I would definately add Dust Elemental Buy to ur sideboard. Here's why: 1) Saves ur creatures without needing counters 2) Synergizes with ur wraths if you end of turn save two of ur creatures then wrath on ur turn 3) Combos well with both venser and draining whelk 4) A dencent creature to attack with if you need to kill fast in a pinch. 5) Has good evasion. Otherwise, looks pretty much spot on.

If it were me, I'd take out the Magus of the Tabernacle Buy and add Magus of the Moat Buy instead: he'll slow down any ground-based hordes that may have slipped through your counterspells. Also, a nice combo with Venser, Shaper Savant Buy involves Galepowder Mage Buy. You can bounce Venser with the Galepowder Mage and then return one of their creatures every turn with the hopes of countering it when he tries to replay it. Neat deck.

If I were to change the deck, I might run Goldmeadow Harriers instead of the Faerie (can drop sooner, doesn't require to tap it first). Also, try running a couple Mystic Gates. Thanks for looking at my Hand control deck.
