I absolutely love this deck. So much I think I may have to borrow it for a change of pace deck when I am tired of playing the same things. Really good use of originality and seems to be neat. Do you have any results of how this is playing yet? Can you check out my deck Restorative Humans I have found that divine reckoning is working well for this deck as well. But for only as long as it is legal. Anyway still playing and loving it

Thanks, man, go for it!  I haven't gotten to take it out for a spin yet, though I'm looking forward to, hopefully FNM this week. The testing has looked fairly good so far, though I'm debating whether I need to add in some more tutoring, possibly Increasing Ambition Buy...Edit: results so far! Delver/Lingering Souls is very popular in my metagame, and this deck in its previous form was having trouble with that (added 3x Corrosive Gale Buy to SB). Lots of decks also featured Phantasmal Image Buy or Phyrexian Metamorph Buy to give me fits with the Legend Rule (added non-legendary "protagonists" to the sideboard: Vorapede Buy and Howlgeist Buy) I also found I 1) was having trouble assembling the different pieces of this "combo," so I upped the number of Increasing Ambition Buy to 3 copies, and 2) really got some good use out of Killing Wave Buy, offensively and defensively, so I upped that to 4 copies. Also, Homicidal Seclusion Buy is a key component to this deck, and multiples stack nicely, so I took that from 3 to 4 copies.

hey man take a look at my Homicidal Sigarda borrowed deck. I have made some tweeks due to what i got and what else i thought would be fun. Let me know what you think and maybe you will get an idea or such.

This is a vary interesting build. . And i do rather like it. You already seem to know the downfalls to the deck that I would have mentioned (like image and metamorph) but I have also noticed alot of people running geth's verdict either main or side board. Also I like to run memoricide side board alot and idk what your kill would be if someone memoricided the angel lol. Other than making sure you keep your angels. I see nothing to really change about this. Nice job

This is a very good deck and I might try to brew this up too. I also agree with @Chaos5288, It seems like it doesn't have enough fire power once Sigarda is memoricided. As for now, I'll try to brew something like this and tweak it up a bit.

Thanks for the comments! Chaos5288 and disinuwebe: Good thought on Memoricide Buy and other "exile all copies of this card" type effects. I've added a Vorapede Buy mainboard to make it more resilient! But Geth's Verdict Buy and any other forced sacrifice wouldn't be a weakness for Sigarda, Host of Herons Buy because her second ability prevents that -- she's "Annihilator-proof" haha... I've tried to address some other vulnerabilities mainboard by adding in Essence Harvest Buy (for reach/lifegain) and Rancor Buy. In the sideboard, there's even some Increasing Savagery Buy so you can "make your own beater." But even without that, say you've stuck a Homicidal Seclusion Buy but don't have a creature. The smallest creature you'll land is the humble Avacyn's Pilgrim Buy, which would come in as a 4/2 lifelinker. Add a Rancor Buy for a 6/2 lifelinking trampler, or maybe you have a Cathedral of War Buy out for a 7/3 lifelinking trampler on the attack, all for 2 mana. Not bad! And Bladed Bracers Buy is also a possibility. I mention this not as theory, but because I've won games this way before. Still, this is obviously the backup plan for if Sigarda's been dealt with. She is definitely the main threat since she's so tough. I wonder if it'd be worth it to add some form of regeneration (Ring of Xathrid Buy, maybe in the sideboard?) for board sweepers/deathtouch creatures...? P.S. - disinuwebe, if you try it out, let me know how it goes, and if you have other suggestions after playtesting! It can be impressive when it goes off, but still isn't exactly running the tables at FNM, so I'm always looking for ways to improve it.

love the idea for homicidal sigarda..thinking of running it myself. i would run it a wee bit different, but amazing original build. i do have a couple of suggestions though. Solemn Simulacrum Buy took a look at your mana curve and if you want to balance it a little more i think its a good 4 drop and it has leave battlefield triggers so would help even if it died and gets you a land if you rate any of my decks i would like my LiFtEr Of TrUtH deck rated

Have you considered using Curse of Echoes Buy or Curse of Bloodletting Buy instead of Oblivion? You're never hard-casting them, and the latter would certainly help Sigarda put out the hurt.

The only problem is you have to splash blue or red for those curses. Cavern of Souls Buy wont let you cast those curses. I see you chose Curse of Echoes Buy so i suggest you might add atleast 3 lands that provides blue. Glacial Fortress Buy and Drowned Catacomb Buy is kind off cheap but Hinterland Harbor Buy may work too. This may also help you not to rely so much on Curse of Misfortunes Buy, it may happen that you draw Curse of Echoes before Curse of Misfortunes to come out. Sad to say, I've been busy these days that's why I haven't tried this kind of brew yet

@disinuwebe Well, I do have access to those lands, but I'm hesitant to mess with my manabase anymore. Even with 9 forests, I still sometimes have opening hands with only dual lands, meaning all my lands will come into play tapped until I find a basic. I'd rather count on just getting them on the battlefield with Bitterheart Witch Buy or Curse of Misfortunes Buy, and dealing with the risk of drawing one I won't be able to cast. We'll see... I'll test it at FNM tonight, and maybe change my mind if I draw it every single time I side it in. :P An exception would be when the shocklands become legal in Return to Ravnica. I'd have no hesitation adding a single "Forest Island" or "Island Swamp" or whatever.

I love this Idea!!!! However I would get rid of the curses. Also another sigarda, one is too risky. If it dies then it will come down to "If I have an Unburial Rites Buy, then I have a chance, if not fuuuuuuuuuuuumanchu!" Also Scavenge would work pretty well if you could fit it.

Thanks for the rate, ZSpark14! I should probably find room for another Sigarda again (used to have 2)... She's tougher now that board wipes are for the most part more expensive (excluding Supreme Verdict Buy) and there aren't many popular "cloning" tricks (legend rule kills) in standard anymore (Metamporph and Phantasmal Image used to give me big headaches). I had the curses in the sideboard before, but moved them main as sort of an added threat or Plan B, and because in the playtesting they've done a good job. I may have to move them out again, we'll see... They do synergize well with Ethereal Armor Buy, but that's not a big loss if I take them out... edit: ... especially if I replace them with Oblivion Ring Buys. Done!
