What's a Sideboard?

How it Works

Working with Newton's First law...

The main focus of this deck is to get out Web of Inertia Buy and lock the opponent down. By removing cards in their graveyard from the game, my opponents won't be able to attack me. They'll die to Millstone Buy.

To control the graveyard, I have LOTS of options. I can use Tormod's Crypt Buy to take the whole thing out, and Planar Void Buy to put a cap on it. Usually I can get a lock by the third turn.

A great opening play is Planar Void Buy. It lets me play Web of Inertia Buy as a hard lock card.

The mana curve on this deck is pretty outrageous!

Sideboarding is mainly vs annoying matchups. Cursed Totem Buy gets rid of creatures with enchantment removal. Smother Buy is to get rid of Disciple of the Vault Buy and other stupidly annoying cards. Brainstorm Buy is against discard so that I can tuck a combo piece safely on my library. Finally, Quash Buy stops most burn decks by removing their critical spells.

I've heard a lot of people calling for Withered Wretch Buy. This deck DOES NOT need it. The {B}{B} in the cost makes it hard to play, and Tormod's Crypt Buy/Planar Void Buy make it sort of inferior.

-2 Morphling Buy
-2 Dismiss Buy
-1 Impulse Buy
-1 Dissipate Buy

+4 Planar Void Buy

Morphling Buy is too expensive to buy to be practical. Grindstone Buy can do that. I replaced it with Planar Void Buy to make the control aspect better.

Thanks to SO MANY people for their constructive comments that have helped to reshape this deck into a lethal killing machine. You guys are great.

Please suggest cards to put in and take out. Thanks.
