How it Works
This is my updated green beats deck. The idea behind it is pretty damn basic. Play mana accel, play creatures, swing, win.
I've been trying other ways to expand on the green beats idea, including adding other colors, and whatnot..but the origional green beats that I made is just so good that I can't really tamper with it too much anymore.
Tooth is starting to die in my metagame, save for one player. Sligh, White Weenie, and Black discard is starting to become the majority of my metagame.
For Sligh, my creatures are bigger, badder, or don't mind chump blocking. Pyroclasm pretty much wins the game for me here, as does Molder Slug.
Weenie is a pain, but the Matsu-Tribe Snipers, Pyroclasm, Tornado Elemental, and Creeping Molds help keep it at bay. No Ghostly Prison, Umezawa's Jitte, Sword of Fire/Ice, etc stays on the board, and most flyers in the deck get locked down by the snipers.
Tooth, however, is a different story. Pyroclasm to try and get rid of their chump blockers (Witness, Birds, etc), Plow Under and Creeping Mold to slow them down long enough to pull off the win. I'm hoping that, soon, Tooth will die off in our metagame, and that my decks will have a chance.
This is just a generalized sideboard, but I have quite a few options depending on how the metagame shapes up.
Weenie (White Weenie, Rats, Sligh, Ninjas, etc): Ghostly Prison, Pyroclasm
Tooth/Control: Plow Under, Troll Ascetic, Splinter (for Colossus, Titan, Shackles, etc), Kodama of the North Tree.
Combo: Plow Under, fast beats. I will soon be getting Cranial Extractions, so that should handle things.
I'm really happy with how this deck has turned out. Most of the deck is customizable for the metagame, it's consistently up to 5 mana by turn 3 (enabling almost every card in the deck, save Rude Awakening), and overall it's just worked great for me.
If you have comments, questions, whatever, just leave a rating. :-) thanks
I took out the Karstoderms and put in Stampeding Serow Buy instead. Also, I working on trying to fit in Arashi, the Ski Asunder as a good maindeck 5/5, and as a good weenie killer.
