Beefed up Tokens + Manlands FTW,
How it Works
OK - I'm seriously getting ticked off - will eMers PLEASE stop overrating UR8/Ir8 decks? What good is the rating of a deck - even your's - if it is rated untruthfully?
Anyways, here's the deck:
When someone uses an infinite combo, he still has to say a number of life/tokens he wants to receive. This deck shows that the exact number matters, and that even 100,000 life doesn't guarantee a win.
BTW, it used to have Essence Warden Buy for tons of life, but I decided not to put in here, as this deck is a complete killer already. I put under life gain category just in case you want to substitute Essence Warden Buy for something. Also, I WOULD put in Doubling Season Buy for great fun, but it's not standard - which I was hoping to keep.
Here is a POSSIBILITY of what will happen (I am not saying it is, because it has a low chance of happening - so plz don't rate me on this):
TURN 1: Play any cost 1 elf, such as Essence Warden Buy or Boreal Druid Buy.
TURN 2: Play Heritage Druid Buy and Llanowar Elves Buy, tap for 3 mana, and play an Imperious Perfect Buy.
TURN 3: Tap Llanowar Elves Buy and Imperious Perfect Buy for a token, tap Heritage Druid Buy, the token, the Essence Warden Buy (assuming you used one first turn), and a forest for Hunting Triad Buy. Tap the 3 warriors and a 2nd forest for Elvish Promenade Buy - 8 more tokens. You can tap the tokens for more tokens, a pumper like Coat of Arms Buy, or preferably Harmonize Buy - if tapped for 6, you should have 1 or 2 floating mana left. That's 16 2/2s on turn 3 - with harmonize, you can MUCH MUCH more. Throw in Coat of Arms Buy and swing for 372 points of damage on turn 4.
REMEMBER: Heritage Druid Buy has an activated ability which affects my other creatures- so the ability to tap for mana on the same turn a creature comes into play is not a problem.
PS: Went 4-0 in last tournament I entered!
PPS: Wheel of Sun and Moon Buy is A GREAT BOARD CARD. If it comes out early, it works against Tarmogoyf Buy, Reveillark Buy combos, and all other sort of reanimation/
PPPS: No matter what, on turn 3 or 4, you should have quite the creature advantage - for example, if you have just heritage druid and another 1 dropper in your opening hand with a token maker such as Gilt-Leaf Ambush Buy/Hunting Triad Buy, you should be able to get out 4 1/1 elves (2 warriors and 2 druids) on turn 2 of either yours or your opponent's turn (you probably want to play Gilt-Leaf Ambush Buyon your opponent's turn for a surprise.
PPPPS: Treetop Village Buy, although it may look like it's slowing down the mana acceleration in the deck, can really help against creature removal (like Wrath of God Buy, Damnation Buy, Nameless Inversion Buy, etc.) - so I think it's definitely worth having in there, due to the amount of creature removal that people normally use.
Thanks! Peace all!
