Relentless Rats Buy That is all.
Okay, not really.
Thrumming Stone Buy. This is the only time it will ever be useful in EDH. My ratio of Rats to deck is right around 1:3. Which means that if I drop a rat while this is in play, all of my rats should follow. And if I happen to have tutored, or just have
Tendrils of Agony Buy in my hand, it could end the game that much sooner.
Fervor Buy,
Emblem of the Warmind Buy,
Fires of Yavimaya Buy,
In the Web of War Buy,
Sarkhan Vol Buy and
Madrush Cyclops Buy are there for the almighty haste.
The non-haste, non-relentless creatures are
Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni Buy because reanimation is good,
Marrow-Gnawer Buy because evasion is good,
Ratcatcher Buy because finding the previous two is good,
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker Buy because an extra Catcher or Relentless is good, and
Brawn Buy because trample is good.
Garruk Wildspeaker Buy also provides trample, and some nice acceleration.
As far as other tricks...
Door of Destinies Buy,
Akroma's Memorial Buy,
Eldrazi Monument Buy, and
Coat of Arms Buy are all there to mess with my creatures further.
Bloodbond March Buy and
Patriarch's Bidding Buy are how I deal with Wrath effects, (along with
Eldrazi Monument Buy).
Aluren Buy and
Aether Vial Buy are ways to play when I'm tapped down.
And there are also a couple of land tricks, too.
Mosswort Bridge Buy is here because I can flip it with just four rats in play. And
Miren, the Moaning Well Buy is here for instant speed 35 life gain. A big rat dies. A lucky player lives. A fair trade.
The tutors are there to do just that. Grab what I need.
Adun Oakenshield Buy may be the best General to lead this deck. He's cheap. He's got a simple tap ability. He'll be competitive to play even if he dies three times. He can also bring back a rat for one last hurrah. Or, if the aforementioned
Bloodbond March Buy is in play, he can resurrect my entire rat horde for

. That's the kind of card advantage that's hard to beat. I think I might call him Willard.
