What's a Sideboard?

How it Works

This Oros deck is one of my most original designs. Fundamentally, the deck is a land destruction deck, which looks goofy because Oros isn't Numot. However, there's a lot more value to be had here. The idea is to ramp with a bunch of artifacts so you can protect yourself from going off with Armageddon. Rather than waste time with stupid spells like Stone Rain that only get you one land, this deck plays higher cost spells so that you get more value out of land destruction. Ultimately, because this deck is fortified with a lot of ramp and beatdown creatures, you should be able to rebuild faster than the other decks and win. Land destruction really disrupts green edh's, and I've found that in control matchups you can really win too because they won't have the mana to counter once it's gone.
