How it Works
turbo mana and cheat into play lattice and forge. unleash the disk and memnarch to control the board forever. triplets and slaver finish the lockdown and put u in control of the game. abuse artifact interactions and brokeness to control every player at the table at the same time.
this deck is powered by tinker and gifts and plays like a reanimator. this deck's combos include (but r not limited to): repeatedly wiping the board, stealing every permanent on the board, completely controlling one players game, controlling all players' turns, abusive land hate, and my fav: round table decking (jar on vat + clock + angel). with a half decent hand and an understanding of the deck, u can assemble a game winning combonation by turn 5. perfect hands yield turn 3 win conditions. surviving to turn 5 in a big table can be achieved with smart tutoring and picking the right win.
Mycosynth Lattice Buy: the backbone of the build. Not entirely necessary, but had strong synergies with almost every card in the deck.
Darksteel Forge Buy: + lattice = godly.
Nevinyrral's Disk Buy: + forge and lattice = LOLZ
Goblin Welder Buy: big target for removal. if it lives, it will power the deck. can also be used as spot removal in certain circumstances.
Trash for Treasure Buy: one time welder play. very useful.
Sharuum the Hegemon Buy: mana cost is doable and she's a recurr/tinker target. commonly tinkered out to fetch a discarded control piece.
Gifts Ungiven Buy: the set up for wut ever combo you want.
Intuition Buy: gifts lite. becuz i have one.
Memory Jar Buy: dig deep for free every turn then dump jucy targets into the grave. with triplets u basically double the cards u draw. can also be used as an alternate win condition when combined with angel.
Platinum Angel Buy: prevents combo and wut not from affecting me (usually). also makes a tough wall to climb when u throw in forge. angel+forge is a biggie at round tables (until it gets bounced).
Mindslaver Buy: true awesomeness at the big table. turn allies against each other in round tables. with a welder or mimic vat and unwinding clock, u can control multiple players a turn.
Memnarch Buy: a real prick play. they got a fancy win condition? thank you. shiny enchantment they don't deserve? here, let me show u how that's used. is a planeswalker pissing in yur cornflakes? make them rue the day. y destroy when u can destroy with? good synergy for abusing the 2 biggest cards- tinker and lattice. a little redundant? u betcha. also fun. so very very fun...
Karn, Silver Golem Buy: a good team player that mingles with lattice to become an assassin of lands. karn is usually a good pick if yur playin against speedier decks since he blocks well and dusn't come into play tapped or require a forge to do his thang (like disk dus). not as dominating, but a great addition if yur playing against tempo or gobs. karn also lets u put slaver or jar on mimic vat. bwahahaha!
Sen Triplets Buy: also sumwut redundant since u have slaver. the use of lattice makes triplets extraordinarily playable. effectively kills permission and has the potential to fill yur hand with extra beef. when combined with slaver yur opponent might aswell just hand u his cards and go smoke a joint while u play with his deck. being an artifact means this card is that much more broken in this build. infact, this card is sooooooooooooo much fun that i usually go out of my way to get it out- even after disking away the opponent's field.
Sundering Titan Buy: a great way to make friends at the big table.
Mimic Vat Buy: something i've been toying with. is very abusable with the hegemon or even karn and something like slaver or jar.
Minamo, School at Water's Edge Buy: effectively doubles academy. also mingles with fancy sb lands like stronghold.
Volrath's Stronghold Buy: sometimes ppl kill yur creatures b4 u get out lattice/forge. sometimes u want to fetch creatures with intuition. great for abusing sharuum or Titan every turn. handy in big table matches since ppl like to target this deck 1st.
Crucible of Worlds Buy: intuition or gifts out fancy lands + this. also a strong play with welder + lattice + academy. negates most attempts to destroy academy.
Door to Nothingness Buy: was jester's cap but i never needed it. door is pure fun for the big table. with unwinding clock and welder it can singlehandedly wipe out every player in one turn cycle.
Gleemax Buy: the end of many deck designs- burn, permission, blink, ect. ect. ect. also the easiest way to deal with this deck's biggest weakness: bounce. so wut if it isn't legal? with the way magic is going, they will make sumthin like this legal anyways, lolz.
Unwinding Clock Buy: for round tables. really abuse yur effects and take over as many ppl as u can with memnarch and slaver.
Kill Switch Buy: locks down the table with lattice out. unwinding clock breaks this card.
Magister Sphinx Buy: fun and useful. a good beater that makes buffed players killable and destroys multiple-headed opponents.
