I'm about to head out so I'll make it quick, but I just met a friend of a friend who has a degree in natural science from Liberty University. I was discussing the recent discovery of the Higgs Boson particle with him and after one conversation lead to another, he ended up stating that the Earth is 6000 years old. This man has a degree in natural science...from an "accredited" university...let that sink in for a while. I really hate our educational system sometimes.

In related news, I'm having regular sex now. After a 4 or 5 year drought, it's particularly nice. Albeit we're both kind of noobs at it, but hey, doesn't matter, had sex. Just thought I'd share. kthxbai. Edit: Also, she's kind of awesome in all ways. Not that I deserve anything from anything, but be it the coincidental, deterministic, and inevitable outcome of the big bang, or some other reason, I have reason to be grateful.

This seems like a good place to take a dump. So check out this shitstorm. Last summer my mom was diagnosed with a blood disorder, which caused her to bloat 50 lbs of liquid. They discovered that it had caused a clot in her portal vein to her liver which was causing ascites to drain into her abdominal cavity. They put a stint in, things seemed fine. Then in January at her checkup, they said one clot is many clots, they can't fix it, she's going to die. They won't even guess at how long she has. Awesome times. So obviously I was pretty messed up, and so was she. The symptoms basically made her lose her mind, fatigue and severe encephalopathy. Well, our second opinion to the mayo clinic said yeah, bring her in and we'll have a look. That was a marathon in and of itself, that place is THOROUGH, but the gist was its dangerous and no one else will ever attempt it, but they'll list her for a transplant. However, because of her underlying blood disorder, the organ bank is going to read her severity as lower than it is (it's complicated) and it's going to be a long time before she looks critical enough to receive a cadaver organ. Point being, I may be getting cut sooner or later. Due to age and blood type restrictions my brother and I are the only viable candidates for live donor, whoever's the better choice will do it. I have a long and storied drinking career, and I don't want to give it up, but blood is thicker than blacktooth grins.

Yeah, thanks man. You don't know what you'd do in a situation until it comes up, but it's a no brainer. It took me a minute to figure out who rico was until it struck me aw hell, the boss man is looking. This board is depressingly dead since my heyday.
