Mafia: Day Three 11/25/2004 5:07:39 AM

Rules

1. No discussing the game outside of this thread, especially at night, unless you have permission to do so (Such as if you're the mafia.)

2. No posting once you're dead. I know it sucks, especially if you die night one, but it's just the way the game works.

3. No editing/invisitext/almost-invisitext. Everything you say during this game will be both visible and constant.

4. No quoting IMs or e-mail from me. If you do this, I will kill you. In game, that is.

Dead
Brave Fencer Musashi - Townie - Stalker (Tracker ability) (Styrofoam boots, Night 1)
Axel - Townie - Doctor (Burned at the stake, Day 1)
Dark Lumina - Serial Killer (Shot in the head, Night 2)
Spike109u - Townie - Sane Cop (Hanged from his neck until dead, Day 2)
Forsaken Hatred - Townie - ???'s Sibling (Mason ability) ('Tragic accident', Night 3)

Current Events

Forsaken Hatred was pulled out of the river this morning. Apparently, he had accidentally cut himself into small pieces and then jumped off a bridge. We all mourn this horrible tragedy.

---

Spike109u has been lynched.

----

Federal agents arrived today asking questions about a Dark Lumina.

They left without many answers, though, since he was found with a bullet between the eyes earlier this morning.

----

Axel has been lynched.

----

Oh noes! Brave Fencer Musashi was found this morning drownin' upside down with his feet floatin' like Christ's. A clear case of murder via styrofoam boot!

Discuss.

Hmmm...it seems that mafia has leftist tendencies, meaning it could be just about anyone, with the exception of...uhhh...everyone playing is left of Mushi. >_<

The town discusses the previous nights events, and all players vote on a player to lynch.

Vote: <player> if you wish to lynch that player.

Vote: No Lynch if you wish to end the day w/o a lynch.

Unvote: <player/no lynch> if you wish to remove a previous vote.

Once a majority (7 votes) agrees upon an action, it occurs and night 2 begins.

So onto the matter at hand-who should be lynched today, or is there not enough information to make a decision?

I don't think there is enough info at the moment, but a random lynching could be lucky, or extremely unlucky. We could end up lynching someone important to our side. It's a toss in my opinion, what does anyone else think?

Okay, then my vote is no Lynching, too early to call.

I say we make a random lynch. Even if it causes more harm than good, it narrows down the field. It's about a 50/50 chance. It might be worth the gamble.

If Geno set it up like recommended then its actually like a 33/66 chance, since there should be twice as many townies as mafia members. >_>

As stated above the chances of a townsfolk going down is about twice as much as a mafia member going down. So should we risk it?

But you can't forget people like Musashi who are stalkers and such. So it might not be exactly 50/50, but it's pretty close.
