err...i dont see the point of putting in more damage producers, once i have infanite turns, i have plenty of time to deal damage with my Dimir Infiltrator...the counters are there to make sure the combo goes off

OK, after reviewing your deck, I understand what you are trying to do. First of all, Cut white. It hurts your mana base. And cut Arcane Denial Buy. No matter what people say, it is a TERRIBLE counter. I mean, giving an opponent card advantage is a BAD thing. If you can get them, get 4 Force of Will Buy and replace Arcane Denial Buy with those. That way, you have free counters. So you have 1 open spot(from cutting white). Cut 2 Temporal Manipulation Buy and 1 Panoptic Mirror Buy for 4 Brainstorm Buys. The reason for this is, you have many, many tutors already. You do not need four of each of these. The Brainstorm Buys will help you find the cards you are looking for faster. -4 Daze Buy for 4 Duress Buy. Duress Buy is better than Daze Buy. Also, they can just pay one for Daze Buy.

-3 Dimir Infiltrator Buy for 1 meloku, the clouded mirror and 2 Morphling Buy. The reason for this is, what happens if you DON'T combo off? Then you are screwed and beating for 1 a turn doesn't do squat. SO, you run better creatures. Morphling Buy aka SUPERMAN is a house.
Loki is aiight aswell.

Since we cut the white, we can rework your mana base.

-3 Tundra Buy
-1 Scrubland Buy
-4 Flooded Strand Buy
+4 Polluted Delta Buy
+1 Underground Sea Buy
+3 Island Buy
+1 Swamp Buy

You want some basics in there, so against Strip Mine Buy and Wasteland Buy and Stax decks. ALso, since you cut white, you want to be able to fetch Black aswell. So you can get your basic Swamp Buy.

I hope this helped you out. It should make your deck more consistant.

lol, alot of work...

This is a two year old deck and i havent made any mods to it in those past 2 years...lol....My first type one....

If i can get the FoW i will definately put them in...thats what was originally in replacing the Dazes...but the $60 price tag was prohibitive

RE: Random Comment 1/31/2006 11:02:23 PM

Besides adding power? Juss kiddin. Well, obviously, adding power would make it WAY better.

But, I will assume that you don't have power.

SO.....THis is what I would do.

-7 Swamp Buy
-3 Phyrexian Tower Buy
-4 Bloodstained Mire Buy
+2 Bayou Buy
+4 Land Grant Buy
+4 Elvish Spirit Guide Buy(ESG)
+2 Dark Ritual Buy
-2 Diabolic Intent Buy
-1 culling weak
-1 Carnival of Souls Buy
+2 Ornithopter Buy
+2 Gaea's Cradle Buy

Now for the hard part...explaining.
Well for starters, you run TOO much land. So, we add ESG, and Land Grant Buy and then slim down your land count. The Land Grant Buy also counts as a spell to add to your storm count. Also, you should play with 4 Dark Ritual Buys no matter what. You also play with too many tutors, so we slimmed it down and added more zero casting cost creatures. We cut 1 Carnival of Souls Buy and 1
culling weak because running 4
Carnival of Souls Buy is bad. You can lose too much life, or it could be a dead draw. I was iffy about cutting it, so if you are attached to it or something, keep it in there. 2 culling weak should be good. Gaea's Cradle Buy is just friggin amazing when you run soo many creatures.

Well, I hope I helped....

the only real help i've gotten is on mana, which i really didnt have problem with, so i wanted to know if there was anything i could do to make this a little faster, just tweak it to make it just that much better than others.

RE: Random Comment 2/10/2006 1:07:57 AM

ok, in your overrun deck, my first suggestion is to get to 60 cards even. maybe drop a forest and the viridian longbow or something like that. 60 card decks almost always play better. maybe a little less land search instead of trashing the longbow, just try knocking it down some.

For your burn deck, I would suggest firing in a few creatures or enchantments, just to keep ya covered in case they play a card like Blurred Mongoose Buy or something that your don't have the cards to handle, like my favorite, Akroma, Angel of Wrath Buy. Also, just having instants and sorceries is a bit of a risk, especially with Nullstone Gargoyle Buy in play.

P.S. I'm looking for some reviews on my deck, if some moreppl can rate and review my deck, i'd be greatly pleased.

P.P.S. I got my internet fixed, playa, so i can check every night now.
