Ha. For a troll, you're kind of lame. You can't just randomly start posting in threads. You have to have some flair. It's not quite a science, but it is an art. Keep at it. You'll get there someday, kid. I have faith in you.

My apologies for just popping in without reading the Eldrazi books, rather, just some notes on the magic salvation thing, but, what ever happened to Gideon?

Hey, so its my first time back in a while. Unfortunately, I am not very well versed in the newer stories. For now, you are better off checking a wiki while I get caught up.

Here's one: After Jace raped the crap out of Tezzeret, being all JTMS and all that, how was Bolas able to put him back together again?

Because bolas is bolas, and just about every planeswalker in existence is his b1tch.

Hes 25,000+ years old, a master of three different types of mana.

I don't think Jace's petty little mind tricks are going to stop Bolas for long, or even obliterating Tezz's mind.

I come into this thread/forum not knowing any MTG storyline. Can you tell me a few major events in the time-line of MTG story and how it relates to the card sets? Like what's the geography of the MTG world, who are the main players?

Who's Urza, Phyrexia, etc?

EDIT: Actually when were each of the card sets released?

EDIT: ok wikipedia figured it out for me. I still don't what the Mending is or who's leading New Phyrexia.

can somebody tell me more about this fight with the eldrazi?

i was also trying to look for Yawgmoth and the spheres, they say theres a giant creature in the sixth or seventh sphere (which is a place full of phyrexian oil) that lives there

The mending is referring to the repairing event that occurred on Dominaria during the Time Spiral storyline. Basically, Planeswalkers, real godlike ones, sacrificed themselves and/or their sparks to repair catastrophic time rifts all over Dominaria that would have tore the multiverse asunder. As a result of their efforts, the multiverse was saved, but the very nature of the Planeswalker spark had been changed. In the pre-mending multiverse, planeswalkers were immortal, godlike beings with incredibly amazing, albeit dangerous, power. Their power would often cause them to become detached from the mortal world, often leading to madness. Others ruled over their people as tyrants or gods. There was nearly nothing that a Planeswalker could not accomplish. The change in the spark caused by the mending made planeswalkers mortal. Their power was finite. They became more like very powerful mages. The primary reason for the storyline change was to make the characters more relatable.

As for the geography of the MTG world, it's quite complex. There are multiverses, which function as parallel universes that only Planeswalkers can travel through. The area between multiverse is known as the blind eternities. Now, the core plane in which the MTG storyline takes place is Dominaria. This is the plane that Urza, Mishra, Yawgmoth, Gerrard, Karn, Teferi, Rahda, Venser, Freyalise, Leshrac, Lim-Dul, Multani, etc. The reason for Dominaria's importance is the it resides at the center of the nexus, where twelve planes came together. Not all planes are natural, as some have been synthesized by planeswalkers (i.e. Rath, Serra's Realm, Phyrexia, etc.). Ravnica, Kamigawa, Lorwyn/Shadowmoor, Mercadia and Ulgrotha are examples of other significant natural planes in which the MTG storyline has explored. Each plane has its own geography that defines the events that occur.
