I have a Stuffy Doll Buy, enchanted with Treacherous Link Buy, and Pariah Buy. I tap the Stuffy Doll Buy to deal 1 damage to itself... What happens now? Does the damage just bounce infinitely between me and the stuffy doll, sitting forever in limbo until we decide to call it a draw and start again, or is there an order to which things adhere to?! Submitting a deck for rates and comments without a deck description is bad enough, but commenting and rating a deck without bothering to read the description is much worse!

Not an order, persay. The end result is that the damage will be dealt to Stuffy Doll Buy, and then in turn to whatever player you chose (and if that player is you, you will end up taking the damage). Both Treacherous Link Buy and Pariah Buy replace what happens to the event of dealing damage. They will be applied once to that particular event, not ad infinitum. In other words, you begin with the event [Stuffy Doll Buy deals 1 damage to itself]. Then Treacherous Link Buy steps in and changes that event to [Stuffy Doll Buy deals 1 damage to its controller (you)]. Then Pariah Buy disagrees and changes the event to [Stuffy Doll Buy deals 1 damage to enchanted creature (itself)]. Now we're back where we started, it seems. However, this is still the same event. Both replacement effects from Treacherous Link Buy and Pariah Buy have been applied, so they can't be applied again. If damage were to be dealt to you, the situation would play out similarly, and you would still be dealt the damage with similar reasoning. -------------------- Magic Rules Advisor =D

Thanks, that makes sense. Submitting a deck for rates and comments without a deck description is bad enough, but commenting and rating a deck without bothering to read the description is much worse!

Could this also work in reverse order? Say my opponent has a Pariah on a creature and I hit it with Treacherous Link. Then I deal Damage to my opponent via a creature or burn spell. Damage get redirected to creature and then onward to the player? Am I thinking about this correctly?

Pretty much. In this case.... * If you damage the opponent, Pariah Buy replaces this event by redirecting the damage to the creature, then Treacherous Link Buy replaces it again by redirecting it back to the enchanted creature's controller (opponent). Both replacements have now been applied, so don't apply again. The opponent takes the damage. * If you damage the creature, Treacherous Link Buy replaces this event by redirecting it to the enchanted creature's controller (opponent), then Pariah Buy replaces it again by redirecting the damage back to the creature. Both replacements have now been applied, so don't apply again. The creature takes the damage. So they effectively cancel each other out in this scenario. - HZ DCI MTG Rules Advisor
