Anybody read the Hunger Games books? Just finished, thought they were excellent until the last book, which was good but a little unsatisfying.

It's on my bed right now, I may read it next. Just finished Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. It's good. All about an expedition on Everest that went terribly wrong.

As long as the ending is happy, I'll gladly read the rest. I've only read the first book but it was an awesome ride. ![]() ![]()

The last book isn't bad. It's definitely worth reading. Just could have been better is all.

I liked the first book but tolerated the rest, feeling pot committed to finish the story. Good story, good characters, terrible pacing and the first-person perspective in this tale didn't add anything to the story. Kind of felt like a cop-out method, any time things needed a shake-up (or the writer couldn't come-up with suitable material to segue into the next scene)then Katniss would lose consciousness, be in a misty fog (arent they all), and conveniently some other character would come and fill her in bulletpoint-style. Entertaining enough I suppose, but felt like the kids series it is. Movie form should be great. I kind of think she wrote the last two more as a screenplay anyway.
