If a card says it can be cast from exile, can I cast it from "under" an Oblivion Ring Buy?

Assuming you mean the new griffin... Misthollow Griffin Buy (for when it gets added) Flying You may cast Misthollow Griffin from exile. That means yes. However, when the O-ring gets destroyed or otherwise leaves play it won't do anything to the Misthollow Griffin even if it is somehow exiled again, as it is not exiled anymore BY the O-ring. It simply doesn't have an "exiled card" to return anymore. ----------------------------------------------------------- Favorite card: Eater of the Dead Buy Post your synergies here The Synergy Page Promote the Synergy section! Alright, new question: Chrome Mox Buy + Misthollow Griffin Buy... I imprint it, it's exiled. If I replay it, does the Mox still tap for mana? ~The Original PRJ since1990~

That's not entirely correct. If you exile a Misthollow Griffin Buy with Chrome Mox Buy, then cast it from exile, Chrome Mox Buy will no longer be able to tap for mana at all. You can activate the ability, and when it looks at "the exiled card," it doesn't find anything, so there isn't a color to choose. (And as a reminder, "colorless" isn't a color.) -------------------- Magic Rules Advisor =D
