	I posted a combo yesterday: Thallid Buy(fallen empires) + R&D's Secret Lair and now its just GONE? Where did it go? Bug or invalidated? 	Under the "My Stuff" dropdown menu, click on "My Combos." It should show both your valid and your invalid combos there. 	Hmm k I see it now. However I must say I'm not 100% content with the explaination as to why it's invalid. Its a clear explaination but can you please "wreck" the following argument: At a local Unhinged/Unglued tournament the deck that held this actually worked. (I was viciously slaughtered by it and called over a judge). Now I must admit that a lot of our local judges rulings contradict facts stated on EM (just like a rules question last week), so I can't be quite sure to trust our local judges in such a way as I used to... The ruling given was: you could announce "during your upkeep" an infinite amount of times while you were still in your upkeep as opposed to "at the beginning of your upkeep", as the lair lets you do that. On a side note: The guy did something hilarious with the secret lair, namely: Lair in play along with Splintering Wind Buy, made a Splinter token, played Retraced Image Buy showing Splinter Buy and put a sorcery into play ^.^ (It also let him Polluted Delta Buy into Island Fish Jasconius Buy =( ----------------------------------------------------------- Favorite card: Eater of the Dead* Buy* Post your synergies here The Synergy Page Promote the Synergy section! Let's look at a card with a very similar wording for comparison: Seedborn Muse Buy. It's a static ability that states that during each other player's untap step, you untap all your permanents. However, this effect only applies once. You can't untap your permanents infinite times. Similarly, Thallid Buy's original wording would be a static ability that lets you add a spore counter once per upkeep. "Announcing" the ability doesn't really make sense, as it's not an activated ability. You can't just choose to apply it whenever you want. Your local judge might be interpreting it as a state-triggered ability, which would actually cause the game to end in a draw because it would trigger infinitely and you'd never be able to end your upkeep. However, it doesn't really make sense as a triggered ability because it using the word "during" instead of "when," "whenever," or "at." Just a follow-up question: if that is the case for Unhinged cards, then how could logic of the comprehensive rules applies to Curse of the Fire Penguin Buy? It seems that this card really has some "trivial" mechanism to function, but based on the card text itself, how should this card work?
