If Player1 has a Sulfur Elemental Buy in play and Player2 has two plains, using one to cast Martyr of Sands Buy, can Player2 use Martyr of Sands Buy's ability before it goes to the graveyard? -Jifuryu

No. After Martyr of Sands Buy resolves, the game checks to see if it needs to perform any state-based actions before the active player gains priority. It sees a creature with 0 toughness and sends it off to its owner's graveyard. Only after that does the active player gain priority, and by then, it's far too late to activate its ability. -------------------- Magic Rules Advisor =D
