This may seem like a dumb question but, does Terminus Buy put creatures in the graveyard on the bottom of their owners library as well? This came up after a friend and I had finished a game by another friend who was watching.

It does not. Spells explicitly effect the battleground, unless they explicitly imply another zone (such as Duress or Scavenging Ooze which imply Hand, and graveyard respectively.

I don't think the previous answer completely explained why Terminus Buy can't possibly affect creature cards in the graveyard. The word "creature" specifically refers to a type of card in play. A Grizzly Bears Buy in your hand is a creature card, not a creature. Same with a Grizzly Bears Buy in your graveyard. Only in play is your Grizzly Bears Buy considered a creature, and therefore affected by Terminus Buy.

The rule: Note too that Terminus Buy will put all token creatures on the bottom of their owners' libraries, then those tokens will cease to exist as a state-based effect. - HZ DCI MTG Rules Advisor
