I copy a Silvergill Adept Buy with a Phantasmal Image Buy. Do I have to pay the extra ?I believe I dont have to...since the image only becomes a copy of the adept when it enters the battlefield and, by that time, the spell's cost is already paid. I only want confirmation on this.

You are correct, although note that the Phantasmal Image Buy becomes a copy of Silvergill Adept Buy AS it enters the battlefield, not when it enters the battlefield. ![]() ![]()

Nice apostrophe abuse ;) Wile it seems like nitpicking, Magic specficially differentiates between the wording "As this enters the battlefield" for a replacement effect, and "When this enters the battlefield" for a triggered ability. This is a significant difference in context of the rules, and since this is a rules forum where details are pointed out - it was pointed out. - HZ DCI MTG Rules Advisor
