I just got back into MTG after selling my entire collection a couple years ago :/ However, getting back into it my girlfriend wanted to learn how to play as well. To teach her I made a couple basic decks. This being one of them. It served its purpose in being a simple deck to use. In playing it though I realized it has real potential. Looking for suggestions. 1.Hero of Bladehold Buy would go great with Preeminent Captain Buy 2.Midnight Duelist Buy is definitely more sideboard, I would exchange them for more Goldmeadow Harrier Buy. These are very useful if someone pulls out larger creatures that you have trouble defending against. I definitely agree with this, knowing that the Bladehold would sprawl great synergy with the rest of the deck. I also agree with this. In fact, I would remove it in favor of Ballyrush Banneret Buy or Daru Warchief Buy to make your soldiers cheaper, Benalish Commander Buy to act as another Crusader of Odric Buy, or even Patrol Signaler Buy to spawn more Soldier creature tokens. Lastly, Kjeldoran Outpost Buy appears to be more essential than Flagstones of Trokair Buy for your deck. Furthermore, Emeria, the Sky Ruin Buy is important especially if you reached the late game without any creatures available.
