Feedback on my casual red/blue deck? 4/20/2014 3:45:07 AM

Recently put together a deck based off of one of my favorite cards of recent years, Nivix Cyclops Buy. I wanted something simple and cheap, and I'm fairly pleased with how it came out, but I'd like some other opinions on how it can be improved.

Any and all criticism and suggestions welcome, I'd like this deck to be pretty much as good as I can get it before I purchase the missing pieces for it.

I kept it "Modern" simply because I wanted uniform card frames.

Temple of Triumph Buy is a place holder until Temple of Epiphany is in the system.

Thank you for your time!

I think you should either put 2 or 3 additional creatures ,
or (greatly) reduce the number of creature boosters (skins, wisps, etc. )
... if you play 5 different spells on a single creature attack,
and your opponent plays Doom Blade or other stuff, you'll lose a titanic card-advantage.
...Plus, the green spell is overkill, in this non-green deck.

DazedMalfegor is 110% correct. All you have is eight creatures in the entire deck. 8/60 reduced to 4/30 reduced to 2/15 equals a 14% chance of you getting one of those creatures. With so much removal and control all I need to do to beat the deck is keep a removal or counter type spell in my hand until you cast one of those creatures. The rest of the deck is useless once those eight cards are dealt with. The green card should go, just as Dazed said. I understand what you are trying to do, but the deck is just too easy to beat. I recommend less pump spells and a few more creatures. I have a fondness for unblockable creatures and the animate lands like Mishra's Factory Buy
