There was a popular deck in Legacy format back in February 2013, which features all Spells and no Lands. The deck has another version published in November 2013. Both of them don't use any Black Lotus Buy or Channel Buy, and wins the game through a "special way" (through Laboratory Maniac Buy), and not by dealing 20 damage or 10 poison counters. ![]()

I had a deck that was capable of a 1st turn kill. It involved Tinker Buy, Blightsteel Colossus Buy, Artifact lands from Mirrodin,Lotus Petal Buy and Lightning Greaves Buy Basically the idea was to use a few Dark Ritual Buy from a Lotus Petal to ramp up some mana, use Seat of the Synod Buy to play Tinker Buy and use the Lightning Greaves Buy to give Blightsteel Colossus Buy haste. Easy 11 poison counters on first turn.

There's also the Goblin Charbelcher Buy deck, which just uses mana accelerants and one mountain to always try for a first turn kill. This is a good primer on the deck.

Doesn't seem like legality is an issue, so there's always Protean Hulk Buy+Flash Buy. Flash in hulk and don't pay the cost. Search your library for Disciple of the Vault Buys and x costing artifact creatures with x toughness (or 0-costers you could immediately sac). When they die, massive damage. Depending on how you have your deck setup, you could get a kill in before your opponent finishes their first turn if they went first. ------------------------------------------------------- ![]()

Black 2nd turn maybe | 11/8/2015 2:44:48 AM |
1 Swamp and aDark Ritual Buy Then Entomb Buy Desolation Twin Buy and then Animate Dead Buy to bring 2x 10/10's but they can only attack turn 2 so not quite a first turn win yet

That wouldn't work. Desolation Twin Buy ability would not trigger as it is triggered upon casting. It is not an ETB effect. Animate Dead Buy does not cast from the graveyard, just brings the creature into play.
